The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has set up exclusive ‘Aadhaar Seva Kendra’ as a single stop destination for all Aadhaar services for the individuals seeking to enrol and Aadhaar number holders.
Currently, UIDAI has opened ASK in 78 districts across India, including all metro cities and state capitals.

This Aadhaar requirement drive is officially managed by Bharat Infotech Pvt Ltd. Enrolment Agencies like Bharat Infotech Pvt Ltd are entities hired by Registrars for enrolling individuals. They collect demographic and biometric data as per UIDAI guidelines and must maintain continuous empanelment with UIDAI to remain active.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Appointed by Registrars after technical and financial evaluation
- Provide Operators & Supervisors for field centres
- Set up centres for new Aadhaar and updates
- Notify UIDAI and individuals in advance for camps
- Paid by Registrar based on successful Aadhaar generation
- Maintain audit trail and follow Code of Conduct
Agency Activities
- Procurement of devices as per UIDAI checklist
- Enroll and activate Operators/Supervisors in UIDAI system
- Send data packets and user details to CIDR
- Receive UID and enable operators for enrolment
- Register operators for certification via TCA
Station Registration
- Obtain Registrar Code and EA Code from UIDAI
- Install and configure Aadhaar enrolment software
- Complete user setup and system configuration
- Load and test pre-enrolment data before operations
